The patented radial system of Matte lets the measurement of slopes in different degrees. It allows the user to adjust the working angle by simply turning the tube. Additionally it can give the slope of any plane like a goniometer. Due to its small size it can be carried inside the pocket or as a keychain, but it can also be converted to a professional spirit level when used with its main ruler.
To enable the referencing from a wider portion of the measurement plane, foldable alignment rulers are placed on both sides of the body. By the help of reference arms it sits exact on the measurement plane.
